Mental health support should be accessible — especially for those who serve our communities every day. Abijah’s is dedicated to breaking down barriers around mental health by pairing off-track thoroughbreds with licensed counseling professionals trained in the experiential mental health framework known as ARCH.

This innovative, relationship-based approach creates a safe, impactful environment for individuals navigating PTSD, trauma, addiction, depression, and anxiety. In 2025 alone, Abijah’s facilitated over 1,000 equine-assisted mental health sessions — each one representing a step toward healing, resilience, and long-term well-being. When you attend Run for the Roses, you help make this life-changing work possible.
